Celia Westbrook is a native of Brazil and has been living in Orlando, FL for the past 24 years. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and a minor in Marketing. After a couple of years working in the legal field as a legal assistant, she focused on working in legal education where she provides administrative services to an array of faculty members.
She is a certified Mindfulness Life Coach, a certified Qi Gong instructor, and a Reiki practitioner. As an avid runner, she is a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach, and she is currently working on earning a VDOT Distance Running certification coaching She has also earned a certification in Positive Psychology and has taken courses to develop self-motivation. She is also working on Personal Fitness Training, and Health & Nutrition Life Coaching certifications.
She enjoys running the half marathon distance but also likes to test her speed in 5k’s races. As a devoted runner aiming for a Boston Marathon qualifying time of 3:35 or better, she embraces marathon training with enthusiasm and patience.
To maintain a balanced lifestyle and wellness, she includes cycling, cross-training, stretching, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and enjoys going to the beach and watching sports. She also enjoys cooking and meal-prepping with a focus on intuitive nutritional food healing.
She lives with her husband, Kurt, and their beloved Jack Russell, R2-D2. Another member of the family includes their smart kitty, Odin.

I'm excited to take my passion for running and over 10 years of continuous learning about this sport by sharing these experiences through coaching! My goal is to provide each athlete with a unique training plan focusing on your strength and adaptability while applying specific strategies with a holistic approach.
The first step to improve your chances of sticking to a fitness or run schedule routine to reach that finish line is to hire a running coach. The athlete and the coach must understand the value of communication for progress to take place. It is also important that the run coach can empathize and relate to the athlete’s running journey, seasonal fitness, and life challenges. It takes time and a lot of hard work to conquer the distance and the finishing aimed time. A training plan is not a one-size-fits-all, and a mindful running coach will work and design a training plan (8 weeks of foundation building) specifically for the athlete’s current fitness, goal, and needs to best succeed with a holistic approach.
